SVTC Mission Statement

Greater Silicon Valley Area surrounding the San Francisco Bay

The Silicon Valley Trade Council (SVTC) is a local trade consortium that is founded by experienced Silicon Valley leaders to promote business activities, domestically and internationally with companies and technologies that have locations in the greater Silicon Valley area.  The Silicon Valley area includes the greater San Francisco Bay Area that encompasses the technology corridors of  Oakland, Berkeley, San Rafael, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Clara, Livermore, and Palo Alto.

The SVTC is unique in the diversity of the background of the founders and more importantly the diversity and breadth of the advisory board. The SVTC is directing its activities under the guidance of the advisory board made up of members from the technology, financial, educational, government, and professional society communities.

The goal of the organization is to be a catalyzing agency for the initiation and development of licensing, channel expansion and general commerce activities between companies with a local presence and companies/agencies located around the US and internationally.
